This came past the other day,it has just picked up the little dockside crane seen hanging by a cable from its jib.

Chatham dockyard in background with MDL marina just out of sight downstream.
Either going somewhere for repairs or flogged off and on its way to India ?

Interesting, id somewhat mechanical wildlife you have down there on the Mudway, Fred.
As usual, everything seems to be going downhill, and now you have that super new camera you should spend a little time and possibly money (- oops, sorry, will wash my mouth out) getting to grips with pixel jiggery pokery.
My 'quick fix humble offering below as a starter......

Never mind the pixelgeekery, where is the little crane from? Have the taken out one of the Historic Dockyard cranes? Interesting picture, thanks for sharing.

Great fleas have lesser fleas upon their backs to bite 'em
And lesser fleas upon THEIR backs
And so forth ad infinitum

seems somehow appropriate:-)

Ha.....Gottim....knew sooner or later one of my iffy efforts would produce a hurrumph and a tsk tsk or two.

"where is the little crane from?"
The "little" crane had been standing unloved and unused on Phoenix Wharf just round the bend, the remaining dockyard cranes have been painted a very fetching Pale Sky Blue at a cost of thousands and have preservation orders on em.

Just for Tony,a badly framed ill lit poorly exposed attempt to capture Mike Gates Medway fiefdom flanked by the two remaining cranes.
