Raymarine / Tacktick use "little green plugs" to connect non wireless NMEA 0183
transducers, such as GPS, to their micronet NMEA transmitter unit.

Does anyone have a source for these connectors please?

Raymarine use Scotchlock UR connectors for 0183 single cable (green button, about £12 per hundred) , never been keen on them personally, there are much better if less easy to use methods.
Google Scotchlock UR to find a local or web supplier.

So much effort over what is after all just an electrical connector!

Despite the help offered, I have made no progress with my search.
What a pity the Tacktick office is no longer open. The staff were
always so helpful in solving problems with their product.

Try contacting Precision Navigation, they were Tacktick suppliers and Installers, usually very helpful, may be able to advise on plugs.

Just a thought, but we're not talking about insulated bootlace terminals here are we?

But the staff transferred to Raymarine and in my experience the support is still as good, just call Raymarine instead.
