My wireless wind reader uses Sanyo ML2430 (24mm x 3mm coin) rechargeable Li 3v coin batteries, ~£50 for a set of 2 replacements from Raymarine. Clearly, I can't possibly pay 10x the market rate for batteries, so I need to find my own replacements. Can't find the Sanyo ones anymore.

So, I have a choice, 3.6v 2430, or 3.0v 2450 - I think the 5mm may be a bit tight.

Anyone been down this path ?

Is it something like like this:
FDK - Lithium button battery ML2430-HS1 3V 100mAh: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Reminds me a bit of the 'capacitor' I recently changed in a Citizen Eco-Drive (solar powered) watch, I think that was basically a small button Lithium battery. I think the base battery might be a standard but there maybe some sort of metal conductors added, possibly propriety. Worth checking the original against the various photos in the link above. Cheaper than £25 each though.
