Tackline for asymmetric/cruising chute on Bavaria 42.

Not obvious where to make an attachment for a block for tackline to run back to cockpit; interested in what others might have done. The anchor bracket rotates on a bolt through the stem head which is new to me but seems common on Bavarias. The anchor will be replaced by one with a roll bar.

Replace the nut/bolt in the photo with a setup incorporating an eye bolt but make sure you use one that is designed for lateral/side loads if possible, I can’t remember where we sourced ours but Google will turn up something.
The other thing you might want to consider is some sort of bobstay. We made a simple dyneema strip with an old bottle screw and attached ours to the same bolt and then down to one of the forestay chain plate bolts. In hindsight I think we could have done something internal in the anchor locker.
