<font color=blue>At auctionI have acquired a job lot of brand new fishing sets, comprising a telescopic rod, reel, float etc. etc. I only have 20 of these and intend keeping one for my boat and 4 sets to put into Club Raffles. If anyone wants one of the 15 sets I have left they can have one for only £8.70p including P&P. Please email me byrona@royal.net

<font color=blue>Jeeze Clive, what you want for eight quid? They are handy and totally complete with everything, all you gotta do is stick a worm (or bread) on the hook and dangle it overboard. The beauty is they are telescopic so you sling 'em in a locker. Just a handy bit of fun kit to have aboard, if you are at sea and the mackeral are running then attach a set of feathers.
So! Email me your home address and I will put you down for one when they arrive. That's 5 gone already.

You with a rod? I don't believe it! This is clever stuff, yer know - so leave it to Eileen /forums/images/icons/smile.gif And if you're as good with a rod as you are with a screwdriver, the fish have nothing to worry about! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

HWMBO only has about 20 rods, when ever we go away he always has to buy a new telescopic. Why? because I won't let him put the smelly one in the suitcase. So I'll have one (email on its way).
Clive - if you ever want fishing lessons just let me know.

Decided to pull out. Its not a Riva. Received a copy of the last survey, quite clearly states it was built by a small unknown ship builder in Portofino Italy.

That's a shame, still better to be sure. Seemed too good to be true.

Presume you're still looking?

Not actively - it just looked like such a good deal. Like you say it was to good to be true. We'll stick with what we've got for now.

should be o.k especially out in Spain, as they havn't made gill nets small enough to catch the tiddlers that are left yet, so you may get a season out of it. good luck!!! seriously should be o.k for fun and a bit of mackerel bashing in the summer, wouldn't recommend serious fishing with it though.
