TAB mast gate missing

I have just bought a Cobra 850 with a TAB mast and no gate, just a hole where it looks like something should fit in. Does anyone have a TAB mast gate they could send a picture of to me, with some dimensions so I can buy/fabricate something to fit please? I already know TAB masts went bust in the late 90's, but am pretty sure there must be something similar I could make fit.

Can't help you with drawings of a TAB gate, but had a nose around the net and came across this, which may give an idea for a way forward. Build Your Own Mast Gates

Alternatively, on Jissel, my old Snapdragon, I made up a bit of ally about 3mm thick to go in the slot, with a couple of holes tapped for a suitable set screw and another on the outside When the screws were loose, it could be slid down to open the gate, then, when I was done, I slid it up to close the gate and tightened the screws. Sorry the description is a bit vague, I no longer have the boat and made it up several years ago.
