we made it into Plymouth last night - tome hopped off to catch his train home - having done a sterling job on our sextant nav and radar course (we crossed the shipping lanes twice on the way from chichester )

No ferry trouble,Ha, boat going well - spoke to the jimi lot in falmouth (a little close to the bottom of the scotch bottle)

big off to Portugal tommorow.

No doubt tome will have something to say

cheers for now

Ian

Nice boat, nice plan, great voyage, even liked the water from your watermaker. Nice to meet Tome in the showers!! I have never seen no much electronic kit on a boat, talk about redundancy. Bon voyage and keep in touch.

"We crossed the shipping lanes twice on the way from Chichester" - was this intentional ? If not then I wish you very good luck indeed in your crossing of Biscay /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Bon Voyage.

Best of luck on the voyage. The Wightlink ferries have been observed going round in confused circles now you have left the area. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You\'ll be missed ...

Ian .......... I hope you have the greatest time and I wish I could copy you ......

Best wishes ...

I wasn't going to mention the 'met in the showers' bit!

Sorry I didn't have more time to chat, I had to catch the train back. Good to meet you.

You poor sod. Do you know what you've let yourself into? When you get back, it's going to be a life of depression, you'll be intolerant of "civilized people" and you'll have an apathy to modern conveniences. Traffic, queues, TV shows and a stable bed will test your patience. I wish you luck.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did.

All the best Ian, to you and your crew.

Regards
John
