T Norris Marine

[Quandary]

Yesterday as I was setting off from Crinan the cockpit Teleflex gear/throttle control packed in, luckily I was still in the canal and able to pull in to a berth. A search online revealed a big difference in price but not surprisingly none of the cheaper ones actually had the part in stock, some were honest enough to say that on their website. Late yesterday afternoon I phoned T Norris Marine, they had it in stock and promised to try to despatch immediately.
It was delivered by Royal Mail up here in the wild west this morning at 10-00. I should be ready to go again by tomorrow morning.
Excellent service from both the supplier and Royal Mail which deserves to be mentioned.

I once wanted some transmission parts when I up at Kinlochbervie (which is about as far as you can go north without falling off the mainland). Norris got them to me by about 12.00 the following day.
