I am considering removing the old smooth treadmaster from my cockpit seats and replacing with synthetic teak. having looked at a few videos I really want the panels made up to size by the supplier and I will do the hard work of removing the old stuff and gluing the new down. Could anyone share their experience of doing the same , in particular supplier used and satisfaction with final result. The prices seem to vary quite considerably ?
Is it worthwhile having panels specially made with mitred corners etc? I suspect that would add considerably to the overall cost as one side has to be 3 panels due to cockpit locker.
Overall cockpit length is circa 1.7m

We have Flexiteak fitted from new and clearly they retrofit as well. I was speaking to an oyster 406 owner who was admiring our decks as he had obtained a quote to replace his decks with Flexiteak. Ours is bleached version. I know they retrofit at Hamble point but I guess they will also attend other locations - I guess you are not moored in North Bucks ? Lots of info on the mobo forum about retrofitting Flexiteak type products in Mobo with photos and you might find the details required for your project as he seemed to make up panels in his garage.
