Synthetic Solutions. Where have they gone?

Last year I took the plunge, stripped the hull of all old antifouling, much priming and coating in order to apply a copper based antifouling manufactured by Synthetic Solutions from Lostwithiel in Cornwall. When the boat was lifted and pressure washed, a small area of antifoul came came adrift. No bother I thought, I'll call them up and get a small quantity sent up and I'll cover it up. Guess what, the phone number is unavailable and Directory enquiries cannot find them.

Does anyone know where they are or where the old stocks of antifoul went to?

try copperbot same stuff or mix a lot of copper filings with a epoxy paint does the same job. try west epoxy. chemist or the sons school for copper filings.

Synthetic Solutions closed down earlier this year. The issue is under investigation by the Police and Trading Standards due to the fraudulent activity of the Managing Director - a long story, not for this site.
