I was just checking the forecast and found this on the met office website for the first time, a 5-day colour animation of their Atlantic and European charts. Has it been there for long? The charts look quite good, apart form the weather forecasted on them at the moment. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It has been there for at lease a year but only recently in colour. The other one I find useful is the rainfall radar animation on which you can actually see rain comming... Iain

Well, at least five years if not more. I don't think it was ever in mono but I may be mistaken there. In the last year or so it has been upgraded to 5 days from 3, and to a 12-hour sequence rather that 24. It's long been one of my primary met sources.

Regards, Mudhook.
