Iam considering having some work done at the yard in Suffolk Yacht Haven. Anyone got any views they can share, experiences, etc?

Thank you

Graham

They are getting agood rep for doing work on timber boats. They have just dropped the keel on mine, and I know several others that are abased there. The workshop is full of timber boats only, so they are used to dealing with them and obviously a lot of people are happy with them. Experienced and friendly yard manager. The MD also has a rather stunning Robert Clark.

Steve (he who rides the old BMW motorbike) is an excellent woodworker. He's very slow & meticulous. Couldn't fault the work he did on my boat (GRP with teak trim). BTW - I've been told the time he takes is not necessarily what you pay as they make an allowance for his working speed. Nice bloke too.
