Sydney Harbour Seahorse shock

There are plenty of them in Devon

Diving friends say they have seen them on the coral near Plymouth, and inside the Breakwater, up the Tamar, etc.

In fact, there are so may they are being harvested and sold as a delicacy in Dartmouth.

Hmm, as I pointed out on the Studland thread, one of the pieces of gold from the 1400 year old Staffordshire hoard, is of a seahorse.

Seems the place is teaming with them and has been for millennia.

I think the vast Oz/Asian based community gather them up to assist in certain bodily functions.

We have seahorses in Chichester harbour and their favourite diet is aluminium props (mine has teeth marks in it!).

I heard a rumour today that the seahorses will be running at Goodwood during the festival.
