Sx Micro-90 Hand held VHF

I have had a sx micro-90 hand held VHF for some years. It has given me good service but the years of reliable use are coming to an end as the battery will no longer hold a charge or accept a recharge. Does any body have any information on where i may purchase a new battery from. Thanks

Hi Mark,

I'll be interested in the responses to your query too as, although my SX90 is fine, I'd like to get a spare battery.

I have got the battery supplier's name on the laptop somewhere, but can't find it at the moment!! I'll keep looking though just in case no one else comes up with a suggestion.

Thanks for that, but I'm sure there are at least a couple of places you can get the batteries in the UK. Probably more expensive as usual though!!!

You could also consider replacing the cells in the battery pack yourself. I've done this a few times myself with handhelds and it can be a much cheaper option. Of course, that is provided the battery pack can be opened.

Yes I've thought of that and will do it if it fails (done it before on other items) but my current battery is fine, I just want a spare.
