I have a chartplotter at the wheel of my boat and worry about damage to the screen. SWMBO bought a tablet screen protector from a poundshop. Now, when I wipe the salt crystals off the screen, I'm happy that I'm not doing any damage. I may try the same for my laptop and netbook.

Sounds good. I might just do the same.

Strange.. I covered the phone screen with a protector before it was even used.. It should make the plotter screen last longer scratch free....
