I thought for many years that the title was first conferred on Clytemnestra, only to be corrected and told that it belonged to Modjadi on whom Rider Haggard based his character. Reading John Mortimer, he attributes it to Cleopatra. Anyone have a definitive answer?

Yours confused.....

Yup ... Adam conferred it on Eve when she forced the apple from the tree of knowledge down his gob, twas then enlightenment dawned!

My wife (she made me write that) tells me that when God created man she was only practising. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I like the sig by the way, though one of my favourites has always been "an optimist is a programmer who writes in ink...." /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
