Swivel Arm for Raymarine C80 Chartplotter - Ideas?

May I suggest that you are thinking it wrongly. When sitting at the helm you want to be able to reach the buttons on the plotter, to readit easily etc. Plotters are not easy to see in some conditions.
I sail single handed & cannot reach a plotter in the hatchway.
So I placed it behind the tiller just above the control for the autopilot.
This is my old one. I now have a 9 inch garmin on a swivelling base. The garmin has a removable base station as did this plotter

All you need to do is take a piece of plywood 12mm Th * 150 deep ( I have just supplied a piece of Trespa plastic 12 * 85* 800 to a friend)
& fix it across the 2 uprights of the pushpit using a couple of "U" bolts. Above the tiller. I have made a polycarbonate hood for mine & can supply a picture if you want. Then if you want to take it off when not on board you can fix the bracket to its own small backboard with 4 keyhole slots. By placing 4 screws on the main board you can just hook the plotter onto the main board. Then just un plug the plotter when not in use & put it below. Wrap the plug on a bag when not in use.
Having the plotter where you are steering makes it dead easy & it does not get in the way. Another plug & lead means you can plug it in below when using it for route planning if you do not have it coupled to a wifi
