Switch Panel Lettering - Any Ideas?

an old-fashioned way (usually the best :)) is to use clear plastic for the panel and white letraset on the BACK, which then shows through.

Doesn't that end up backwards?

The Brother labeller is essentially an automatic version of what you describe, as it lays a clear plastic strip over the tape as it prints. It is thus impossible for the ink to rub or wear away.

apologies, pete, it wouldn't have worked with letraset. i think it was peel-off lettering but i can't remember any more... it was a long, long time ago... i'll shut up now.

Being the impatient type I ordered some letraset packs after seeing Malcb's response - half an hour later having seen the recommendations for the Brother P-Touch, I ordered that as well, together with the white on clear tape. Letraset letters have arrived, p-touch should be here tomorrow. One way or the other I should have a solution, thanks for all the responses:)

Cheers
