Swiftech M198

Wondering if anyone know if it is possible to reset a Switech M198 handheld VHF.
Stuck on Ch 16, is receiving, but none of the buttons work.

Press D/V and CLR keys while turning the power on
or Press CLR and DN keys while turning the power on.

Not sure if either of these will help, but I found the troubleshooting page in the manual
