This looks like an excellent package. Nice looking boat too

Cost will be a big factor but I reckon it should come in at about £150k with a good spec, perhaps a £125k start

yes it is irrational.

AFAIK they make a twin engine version of the Antares 30 called the Antares 32. They have sold very very few as the single engine makes so much more sense

Didn't know that but interesting. I would be keen to know of any experiences of a failed single engine beneteau trawler esk boat but accept it is irrational. That said I see a vast majority of single engine outboards (new ones) with an auxiliary alongside, myself included?

Saw the brochure/pics at the weekend and I already want one, especially if Whitelighter is correct with his estimated price of £150k !! Looks like it could present serious competition for the, err.................................Swift 34 ?

True. But how many have you seen being used?

Fair point, the irony is I've heard of a fair few yachts on the VHF calling the coast guard with a failed engine but only one motor boat and that was a older 16footer with a two stroke and no back up. None of this is relevant to your beauty Seralia, bet you can't wait to get out on the water?

All said and done that Swift 30 is very much on my 'next' boat list!

just seen the video it only showed the master cabin does it have two,but i love how the stern opens up ,great for peeps like my self who have family in chairs

The plans are on the website. It has a double forward berth and what looks like a bunk twin to port, opposite the heads. The main cabin converts to a double, same as the Swift 34. It appears there is the option of a separate shower room in place of the "bunk room".
This would be perfect for cruising, as we would still have the convertible saloon when needed for guests.
Don't know why Beneteau don't offer that option on the 34.
