We have just launched a free android app for Swansea Marina. It gives information on our tide times, tide heights, weather, office hours, locking times and all our latest news. It should be a useful tool to anybody sailing around Swansea/Gower or visiting Swansea marina. We have included tidal time differences for most Bristol channel ports which should benefit any body cruising the channel. If you do download it any feedback would be appreciated. If the android version is successful then we will be looking to make a similar app for the Iphone.

Swansea Marina Android phone app.

The app. is an extremely useful tool and to date, appears to be working fine. I, for one will use this app. I particularly like the tides, weather and lock closure info.
It may be useful to include contact numbers for chandlery, marine servicing etc.

This is a really great app! I love using it on my Android Business Voip Phone, but I am wondering if you have plans to make one for the iPhone any time soon?

We have an free iPhone app available now. Enter iphone.swanmar.co.uk into the safari browser and follow the instructions. We have been having problems starting a new thread on this forum unfortunately, so haven't been able to announce it. The download info is also available on our Facebook page. Thanks for the feedback on the Android version and the iphone version is the same format but any more feedback would be welcome.
