Sad day on Friday as Swansea Coast Guard is shutting, my involvement with the lifeboat means I ring Swansea CG on a regular basis, they will be missed. What is more concerning to me is on this side of the channel it would appear they still can't deside who will look after us Milford or Falmouth. Up until a week ago the cChannel was going to be split down the middle (East to West ) with the English side looked after by Falmouth, then last week i was told the whole Channel from Hartland point East would come under Milford, a better idea in my eyes, but speaking to the CG yesterday that might have changed again, what a farce
