Don't think so but they operate a water taxi in the summer..... Not much use to you but wonder if they operate over Easter assuming you were going this weekend.

Swanage is a lovely place but thanks to Purbeck District Council we’r still living in the dark ages and I’m sure they would like to see all the Isle Of Purbeck people driving around in horse and carts. If ever there was a place ripe for a marina its Swanage, what a boost it would be for the town yet no one seams have the vision to implement it. I believe you can stop off on the main pier and I have put people ashore on the stone pier where the trip boats go from.

Another bloody Marina!!!??? Give me break! I hope to God they never allow a Marina there.

Horse and cart? Not a bad idea either!

no probs....ill take my money n custom elsewhere : /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There were quite advanced plans for a marina at Swanage in the mid 80s but they got thrown out at a late hour in the House of Lords IIRC. Fishermen, amongst others, were against it and I have to say I'm happy it was rejected as it would have completely changed the character of the town

NICE ONE !!! never gave that a thought. When i finally get towing sorted (see 2009 ? on web site) will be more than happy to ply you with some business. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
