Swale porpoises

1330 today,entering E Swale,three little black porpoises (I believe not being an expert) were jumping out and rolling in group formation,seemed to me like pups playing,this season's litter? Ultra cute anyway,a privelege to watch. They didn't come when I whistled and play round the boat like dolphins,but did their own thing. What species would they be? They certainly looked happy! thanks for info on them cheers Jerry
 
Harbour Porpoise - only reach about a metre long fully grown. They really do seem on the increase which is really great (unless you happen to be a small fish, I guess).
 
Went through the Swale last week but didn't see porpoises in the East Swale. No seal sightings either until we got further up:
