I am going to be racing my Etap 26 in a local festival shortly and there is no Byron PY rating for the 26. However Etap have given me a SW rating used by the Dutch Etap club of 109 compared to the Etap 26i's SW rating of 105. The Etap 26i has a Byron PY rating of 1025. Has anyone got any idea of how the SW rating system works so I can calculate the correct PY rating for the Etap 26.

Thanks in advance.

If you're reasonably satisfied with the relativity of the SW ratings, why not go with 1064, i.e. 109/105*1025 ? (And you have a good answer if anyone asks where you came up with the handicap....)

Yes in the absence of any other theory that is the one I was going to use. I guess it may work in much the same way as the PY system except multiplying by 100 instead of 1000.
