Suzuki outboard weight?

Does anyone know the weight of a ten year old Suzuki 25hp short shaft, manual start outboard. I think it is a DT25 or something like that. I am thinking of upgrading to a new four stroke but need to be able to compare the weight of the old and new for the davits.
Couldn't find anything on the web, but then I never can!

I would guess 40-50 kgs. A set of bathroom scales would tell you if you can't get the answer on here

What's the matter with you people; where's your lateral thinking?

(a) Move tender to somewhere that dries at LW
(b) Lower the scales to the seabed, directly below the tender
(c) Wait for LW
(d) Read off combined weight of tender and outboard
(e) Subtract weight of tender (already known, presumably?) from combined weight as shown on scales
(f) Decide the outboard is too heavy and go back to the drawing board

Repeat steps a-f ad infinitum

(c) Wait for LW
(d) Read off combined weight of tender and outboard
(e) Subtract weight of outboard (already known from asking the forum) from combined weight as shown on scales

No its not. Its liftable by one person, and if its manual start it can't be more than 4 transom bolts, a steering cable, and a quick release fuel connector, 15 mins max? Or did you epoxy it on? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually i'm pretty confident it'll be within the band I gave, so if you take 45 kgs you wont be more than 5 kgs out?

Can't help with a 10 year old one, but a 1986 DT25, short shaft, manual start jobbie weighed 54kgs or 119 lbs if you still work in old money.
