Suzuki DF2.5 outboard - cooling issues?

I've been thinking about getting one of these, mainly because of the weight and not wanting a Honda. They've been recommended on here by a number of people in the past.

I've just spoken to a large dealer who comes well-recommended in these parts & they are no longer recommending the Suzuki because of frequent cooling issues. They've even had one "melt" in their test tank. I've seen the lack of a constant tell-tale commented on in the past, but not really seen anyone admit to it being a particular problem. But now I'm having 2nd thoughts.

Does anyone have any wise words?

Incidentally the dealer recommended the Yamaha - but I'd really rather not have the extra 4kg if I can avoid it.

I've got one, never had a problem.

Not had a problem, although still relatively new. telltale nozzle does block easily but is easily unscrewed and cleared.
Tends to stall easily at moment but it was described as a running in issue.
