Anyone got one of these?Looking to do first oil change? The owner's manual shows oil gushing from a hole under the tiller arm.All I see are a number of similar looking bolts under there.Which one is the oil drain plug and can I reuse the gasket? Also I cannot make out any oil level surface looking at the visual oil indicator circular window

This is from the manual

Engine oil change
The oil should be changed when engine is
warm so that the oil will drain thoroughly from
the engine.
To change the engine oil:
1. Place the motor in a vertical position and remove
the motor cover.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Place a drain pan under the engine oil drain
plug.
4. Remove the engine oil drain plug and gasket,
then let the engine oil drain.
5. After draining, secure the engine oil drain
plug with a new gasket.
CAUTION
Do not re-use the removed gasket. Be
sure to use a new gasket.
6. Fill with recommended engine oil to the
upper limit.
Oil capacity 0.38 L
The oil level is at the pivot of the tiller arm and should be re-filled to the upper part of the window as for the drain plug you will need to try around the back of engine until oil pours I think some of the screws are engine mounts the diagram is not too clear, engine should be warned up to allow oil to flow easier.

The oil drain plug is #14 in this diagram below.

If the washer/gasket is undamaged reuse it. If in doubt fit a new one ( What is it? A fibre washer that you can match at any half decent hardware store?)

If you cannot see an oil level then I'd deduce that you have not been maintaining the oil level correctly!

I turned mine upside down and drained the oil out of the filler- made less mess than using the official drain plug.

Yes, the official method makes hell of a mess.
Either do as Northup says or syphon/suck the oil out via the filler hole.

The point which I think the OP is making about the oil level window is that is is totally useless: you can make it read either completely full or completely empty with the smallest movement of the motor head.

Just done one. There is a plastic largish philips head screw in a recess just next to the tiller arm underneath - get a torch on it and you'll see it. Un clip the cover, take the oil filler cap off, undo the screw and drain the oil. Replace the screw afterwards with a replacement washer - the one on there might do, but they malform when tightened from new and sometimes dont reseal well. You'll get close to 300ml in if you drain when the oil is warm. You also need to replace the gearbox oil too - which is a bit messy but very easy. Instructions and diags are in the manual or on-line.

Does this mean I should replace 300ml and not 380ml so as not to overfill?
I assume I can buy the oil at any petrol station (SAE10W-40).

Maybe I got about 320 in perhaps, depends on how much you let finally drain out before you put the plug back in! Use the site glass on the side to check. - the level should be towards the top of the site glass with the engine sat in a vertical position. Stick 300/320 in and check the level. If its a bit low put a bit more in. Don't overfill it. The manual states the standard of oil you need, but most 10-40s will exceed this. I used a semi-synth 10-40. After the service, run the engine up, then recheck the level afterwards.

Ran the engine to warm the oil.Plug and filler came out easily.Drained the oil into a cut off 2 litre coke bottle. It was black enough.Put a spirit level across the clamp bolts to level the engine.Put in .36 litres using the top of the coke bottle as a handy funnel and was able to see a good level in the glass window.I re-used the plug washer,no weeping.I was chuffed, successful, no mess....then I accidentally kicked over the coke bottle....
