Hello All,
Am after a bit of advice re my Suzuki DF115 ob.
I noticed some blue smoke coming from it at the weekend but only when it wasnt under load.
i.e With it out of gear it seemed to smoke for about 5 seconds then fine for 10 seconds then smoke again for another 5 seconds and repeat.......
This continued to happened when i increased the tick over up to 2k, same pattern.

With the engine in gear and the prop spinning, the smoke seemed to disappear?
Engine is a 2010 model and has about 230hrs, and so far has been faultless thou i havent used it much the last 3 months.
Should i be concerned?
Any ideas gratefully received :-)

not since the weekend. will give it a run out hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
Checked the oil level and if anything was over full

Thanks for the replies :-)
Bit surprised i haven't noticed it before as the engine was serviced in feb this year.
But i don't normally leave it idling in neutral for long, normally im gone within a couple of mins of staring.
Will drain some oil out and get to the correct level.
Thanks again

So, bit of an update.
The engine was overfilled by 2Ltr!!! (was 'professionally' serviced at the start of the season so not impressed)

Used one of these for the job sucking out via the dip stick hole. piece of cake :-)

Engine now runs smoke free in any mode so happy, Hope there's no damage been done. Time will tell.

Thanks for all the advice, its much appreciated :-)
