Suzuki 3.5Hp Outboard Oil mix?

Anyone know the oil mix for a Suzuki 3.5Hp outboard. Guess it would be around 8-10 years old

100 - 1 normally...........

Use a synthetic pre mix oil . Doesn,t matter what "Brand". Don,t use Motor oil 20/50 etc., Dont use "Lawnmower oil.Don,t use "injection oil" Do use ordinary bog standard "Outboard oil" at about 75/1. Advances in oils have been rapid since Your outboard was manufactured. Because your engine will probably be used in short bursts ie, getting to the mooring, to the pub,the beach,going for more wine,kids having a jolly,rope round the prop! Oops Sorry! You see, you ain,t gonna wear it out cos of mileage unless it,s used as a auxilliery and your going to motor for ages with it. If the engine is going to be used "flat out" for hours that,s another storey. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif So 100/1 is ok as per itsonleymoney

Be careful, my mariner 3.3 is about 10 years old and takes 50:1 There was a change shortly after mine which made 100:1 possible
