Drain the carb , as briefly mentioned in the video.
I'd also get some oil into the crankcase to lubricate the bearings by spraying fogging oil or two stroke oil in via the carb while pulling the engine over on the starter
The Suzuki has a points ignition system if 1989 or earlier so cleaning the points may also be necessary on the earlier models.
