Suzuki 2.2 2-Stroke Won\'t Start
Suzuki 2.2 2-Stroke. Wind picked up earlier and stupidly I thought my new method of tying the tender to my tub would solve the problem of flipping the thing over... but I was wrong.
It got half submerged in slightly salty water.
Started fine straight after, but I thought I'd run it for a while to make sure any ingressed water was expelled.
Then it stopped.
Started again - ran for less long this time - then stopped.
Kept fiddling - and now it very rarely has a quick fire and that's it.
I took the covers off and removed the spark plug and gave it a clean. It looks brand spanking under there. Plug brand new looking, but a little blacking on the hot end so I sanded it a little. Re-assembled. Same thing.
I'm onboard at the moment so can't leave my yacht until this is sorted.
Any ideas?
THANKS!!!
