Had the electronics guy hook my nema 200 network up to the twin 2016 Suzuki's. I have a new Raymarine Axiom 9 that will not connect to any of the engines. My Garmin 94v will only see one engine? I do have analog gauges and they still work? Help

1. Risk of the obvious - is the Axion confirmed as connecting to these engines?

2. The engines are coded. 0 ,1,2 etc.

0 is either port or stbd, 1 the other. JFM knows which number is which engine.

They will have been fitted out of the box and coded as 0.

You will I believe need to ask your local dealer to user his laptop and code the other engine to 1 and you will see both ( on the Garmin).

This is how Volvo / Meretron boxes work so I believe this will be the same.

I’m not sure I have any information that will help, but my experience is as follows just in case:

I run a single 2016 Suzuki 115 outboard, and have also kept the analogue gauges. As an aside, I believe the engine interface cable has to use the diagnostic port in order to output a digital NMEA 2K feed and maintain analogue gauges.
I was careful to order an engine interface cable with the correct software version for a 2016 outboard. I struggled to get a Garmin chart plotter to see any information from the engine, replacing connectors and cable with still no joy. I eventually realised that Suzuki had supplied a cable with the wrong software version installed. Once amended everything worked fine. I suggest you check the software version for both cables. I can’t remember the backwards/forwards compatibility, but I seem to remember that the software on the cable supplied to me was too recent. Once an older version had been installed all was fine. This or coding the engines 0 & 1 may explain why only one engine can be seen. Good luck.
