I have a Monterey 278ss and am recovering from a spinal injury. Although I’m not the wave jumping type of boater, it does happen occasionally to take a wave and upon reflection realise there would have been a better way of approaching it.
I am looking into a retrofit suspension seat solution to alleviate some of the strain on my back. Given the style of boat I can’t go for the full suspension seat arrangement, but I saw shock absorbing pedestals from the likes of Seaspension and Shox. Does anyone have experience with these or have any alternative ideas? With many thanks in advance.
