We're keeping our eyes glued to TV and internet to see which way Ivan is going and have also booked hotel nr Tampa from Sunday in case we have a mandatory evacuation and get a storm surge which would inundate our island. Latest path projection takes Ivan right through here. Getting some of our belongings together and getting ready to run!

You guys aren't half getting clobbered!! The couple that own the caravan park where we stay have a house in Florida. He's over there right now fixing the last lot.

Dave- things are looking better for us as of the latest Hurricane Ctr track projection for Ivan. It looks like the eye is going to pass 200 mi to our west on Tuesday, so we should only get a breeze and rain. Let's hope it doesnt jump sideways like Charley did, 'cos I'm just about to cancel our evac hotel booking.
