I know its been done to death, any recommendations for a surveyor in the west wales area ?

You could try Alan Haynes. He did the survey for me just over two years ago. Like any survey there were a few statements of the obvious and a few get-out clauses, but my boat is still afloat just as he predicted.

Depends what you want a surveyor for - insurance, pre sale or pre purchase. The first two need to be old and blind. The latter needs to have all the mental flexibility of HMRC .

I'm looking at pre-purchase, last survey done in 2010 for insurance purposes. She hasn't been used much since then so want to be on the safe side for anything I may have missed etc...
