Surveyor - Cowes

Hello All,

Loads of surveyors in Cowes on google but wondering if anyone has a strong personal recommend for a pre-purchase survey of a late 90's vintage yacht? (Or anyone to avoid but best by PM for that!)

Looking to get a survey done in the next couple of weeks and would want to attend so no one who would be annoyed by that please.

Nigel Harrison is in Cowes.
I knew Nigel from running the Chandlery/moorings at West Mersea and from having a wonderful old houseboat (taken away to be converted into a racing classic) when we first started.
Buying a boat in Yarmouth in late 2021 (our seventh boat) I hunted around for a surveyor and eventually found Nigel. He did the survey for us and was very thorough and sensible and I was pleased and would recommend him. There were some silly prices and silly delays being offered by others.

A friend of mine bought a boat from him and I sailed it from Cowes back to the Clyde, seemed like a decent guy.
