Yep it is the bad forum software.
Generally, the problem is that the pics are too large for the forum software.
I have to scale my pics before uploading.
It is a shame that the designers didn't understand or think to make it work with a standard modern smart phone.
Really bad forethought.

We saw it parked out side Crinan Sea Lock on Sunday. Big and shiny with the 35'-40' boat anchored nearby only coming up to its second spreader!

The word Nboni is an interesting name for a boat as it refers to a group of people of an ethnic group living in the present-day Southern African countries of Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The Ngoni trace their origins to the Nguni and Zulu people of kwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.

It also refers to a kind of traditional african drum.

So I wander how the yacht got its name.

African harp, and when you see how it's strung it makes a bit more sense, perhaps?

I know that as a Kora from West Africa where Ngoni people are mainly from East and South East Africa.

I do have something similar in by bar I got from the Comoros islands but is made from a a hollow bamboo/hardwood with 13 strings all around which is plucked like a harp or Kora.

Tuning is by movable bridges

You're stuck on peoples. I'm proposing the name comes from a harp and not trying to join the two. That's your endaba :p

Yes I don't deny that there is a african harp called a ngoni the key i the number of strings.

I know the ngoni people as a number of friends and african people I have dealt with are from East and south East Africa who were all related to the ngoni people.

As I said it would be interesting how the yacht get its name no more that an interest.

Why? I suppose he could of called it after a population group. I'll look for the next superyacht called Kydaar after the indigenous group north of the Vaal plateau. In the multiverse such a boat is inevitable
