SUPROD HD200 dinghy wheels?

Anybody got experience of these dinghy wheels?

Been pulling dinghy with outboard up long beaches etc and not helping a bad back. The spec looks quite neat, smaller than the very large inflatable wheels but larger wheel size than the ubiquitous small plastic wheels (which suspect would struggle on sand). I have a set of the plastic ones that are about half that price on ebay and they work well. The springs didn't last long, but as long as there's a bit of weight on the wheels, they aren't going to jump out.

Thanks yes seen lots of these cheaper plastic ones with the smaller wheels. Just wondered if anybody on here had bought and tried these SUPROD ones which could in theory be better - but at three times the price.

In the rare absence of knowledge on this forum about this product, I decided to take the plunge and bought a pair - which I have now fitted and used for a few weeks, landing in around 20 different places (many of which were remote islands).



Firstly the negatives
- these wheels add a bit of weight to the dinghy transom - around 4kg
The positives
- this weight is due to the fact that these are solidly engineered in marine grade stainless steel
- they arrived very quickly from the German supplier (massively quicker than an order placed at the same time for the sealant from a Scottish online chandlery!)
- they were very simple to fit - and the bolt holes were above the inflatable floor level, which is what I wanted to avoid risk of damage to the floor
- the biggish wheels have been brilliant so far, working well on sandy beaches and even pebble ones - saved a lot of lifting which my back was objecting to

So if you just need something for pulling a dinghy up a smooth concrete slipway then probably could manage with the small plastic rollers. But if landing in a variety of different places these wheels have much more versatility and recommended.
(PS At the same time I purchased a heavier (2.5kg) grapnel anchor - which complements the wheels well for landing on steep sided rocks where tend to use the grapnel and then leave afloat)

I have used the small plastic wheels and I have also used the large pneumatic wheels. The small plastic wheels are painful to use on all surfaces, the large pneumatic wheels are brilliant on all surfaces, very practical and I have used them for many years without any problems. However, I am now looking for a set of smaller wheels for my new dinghy; the Suprod wheels look good for what I am looking for.
