When I start the engine (Volvo kad 43) the clutch of the supercharger won't engages as it should. The supercharger works normaly between 1100 and 2300 rpm. Does anybody knows which sensor is responsible for engaging the clutch (cold start)
Thanks for any response Philip (from The Netherlands, sorry for my bad english )

Clutch should not engage when engine starts on 42/43 but should on 44/300.

Check relay box has not melted , clutch is picking up an earth ,

The supercharger is not supposed to run when you start the KAD43, it is only controlled by rpm.

Are you sure, kad44 compressor always cold on startup because the supercharger works at low RPMs to help start and eliminate start-up smoke.

Why not on other KAD / KAMD machines whith compressor?

I can confirm my 42's dont have the compressors kick in on start up. only from 1700 to ~2300 rpm and after up to ~3k rpm if the sensor notes the engine is labouring.

Supercharger should be working between 1700rpm and 2800rpm, more or less. Does it realy cut out at 2100rpm?
