she came thundering past me 2 days ago

anyone here own it :)

Almost.... I spec'd that i wanted liquid Marmite at a contolled 28 degrees celcius from a faucet in the galley. They were unable to Achieve this so I said no. :-)

Beautiful yacht!

When it gets to the med you will have no problems frying an egg on that black hull while successfully being able to bake a potato in the interior.

Hopefully the hull has air conditioning technology

The world of paint finishes has moved on rather in recent times, there was an article in BI a while back that stated that a number of superyachts are now using highly advanced paint systems derived from military technology where Dark colours that no longer attract / retain heat in the way one would expect.

I see that she is fitted with a dynamic stability system. I wonder if I could retrofit this to my 34? I'm sure my wife would be pleased.

The video had it sailing with a substantial amount of heel - to much for the vases of flowers in all the interior shots, anyway :)

better still check out velsheda which she is parked next too
In the 1980s she used to come to Jersey to lay along side the pier at St Aubins Fort.to be cleaned & antifouled, the photos are of me towing her in.

You may jest... But a few years back the owner of NCP car parks frequented here, he owned mirabella... When she was in Pompey took a few forum members out...

I think you're confusing a couple of people - the owner of NCP is Sir Donald Gosling, who owns "Leander", a very gorgeous but definitely motor-powered vessel.

I forget the name of the owner of M5, but his son (Joe?) posted on here for a while and got caught by a sting operation involving TomE (RIP), jfm, tcm and various other forumites, and a disaster that befell a boat called the St Evio 1 (you had to be there :)). He was clearly an all right guy, because he took the joke, turned up to meet the creators of the prank in the pub and then entertained them on Mirabella 5. Some people deserve to be wealthy....

Joe Vittoria was the owner of Mirabella V (now called M5), his Business Claim to fame is that he brought Avis car rental to Europe.

She was back in Dartmouth the weekend before last. A very classy looking yacht but with a surprisingly small tender, looked to be a RIB of about 3.5m.
