Super glue on glasses

Indirectly boaty.
Using a drop of SG to fix a wiring hook and got a little on my finger and transferred a smear on to my glasses lens. Old age requires that I need them for fine work.
Any ideas on how I can remove the superglue, which is on the edge of the lens and thankfully not in direct line of sight, but still a B nusiance.

Id be worried what effect the debonder would have on plastic lenses. No worries on glass but keep off the frames if they are plastic.

take the lens out of the frame first.

if metal, small screw driver, may need some heat to soften the locktite.

if plastic, heat the frame up, hairdrier will do.
(unless it's and spx frame, vvv unlikely, they're expensive !)

standard plastic lens will not be harmed. some night time driving coatings r a bit dud and might come off. (don't suppose you have that on your readers )

What plastic are they made of?

What is the solvent in the debonder?

Provided they are coated lenses I have found gentle rubbing with methylated spirit will remove almost anything. It doesn't dissolve it of course but seems to creep in and break the bond with most things. This was suggested by my optician.
I don't imagine this would work if they aren't coated.

Thanks for all the advice.
The lens are glass in a wire frame. I'll have a go with the meths first, since there is plenty in the shed. If no success then the de-bonder.
