Sunset on the Thames

So there I was at work yesterday thinking I must pop to the boat to do a couple of bits and bobs this evening but the weather turned to heavy rain around 5.15pm. However, by 7pm it had stopped so my daughter and I set off for the marina.

Once we got there I fiddled around not doing anything very productive when my daughter said "lets take the boat out dad". Not wanting to disappoint her I had to say "yes" didn't I.

So glad we did, it was so still, peaceful and had a beautiful sunset that was even more enjoyable from the river.

Only had my iPhone with me but it conveys what a lovely evening it turned out to be.

Many thanks, it was an unexpected treat. We only had half an hour out on the water crawling along on tick over but still very relaxing.
