Interesting article.
I wonder how the coastguard would react if everyone followed the RNLI comment at the end of the article as below -
" The spokesman added: "The RNLI would always advise those going to sea to inform the coastguard of where they intend to go with an estimated time of arrival and a message to them when they are safely at their destination."
They are already asking boats to call up the NCI for radio checks in the 'Solent' area.
