Good Morning,

I recently upgraded to a sunseeker camargue 44 and currently doing up the boat with new interior. All seems well and nearly ready however I hit a dead end on one single piece. Not sure anyone can help who is familiar. I would like to remove the "ugly" and outdated wood paniling by the stairs but can not find any screws etc. Any help how this can be removed? I have already removed the "bar on the right hand side" IMG_9713.jpegcan be removed?

Hi there . I'm im the throws of putting an offer in on a camarge 44.
Any info or tips you could give me would be appreciated 👏.
One item is the tap and shower in the main en suite - the water pressure is very low , trickles out of the tap and v poor flow from shower . The owner has maintained a meticulous record of maintenance so seems odd he hasn't fixed this until it's an expensive job or v awkward ?
I don't think the through hull fittings have been changed over the last 10 years - ? He said they were inspected at haul out and in good condition ?
Any help much appreciated.

Hi. Water pressure start of with the water pump (located sofa side bottom hatch) Very simple to replace, just replaced mine. Might also want to inspect the water pressure vessel (if installed) located normally near the portside engine. I would definitely inspect the through halls and sea cocks and replace if required. Do note some do have earth cable connected with them

Could the "decorative" bits be held on with something like No More Nails? If you're determined that they've got to go, I'd be inclined to go at one piece with a vibrating multitool to see what's underneath. Of course, that does mean that you're committed from the first cut.

Yes already remove a small piece form the sofa side (cover by the sofa). I would like to remove the complete wood frame and replace it with a wooden book shelve.

I would smack it upwards with a mallet and a block of wood to see if the top is just nailed and glued on ( thinks, how would you put it together quick and inexpensively yet looks good and no visible fasteners, in a production environment? )

Once the top is off you should be able to see how it is attached or bonded to hull or the teak step etc and then a multi tool is your friend

Top is glued. Im just afraid that I would damage it without the possibility to be converted into a book shelve then. Hence why I would liek to know if anyone with a similar boat did ever remove it.
