Sunseeker assists sailing yacht!

I watched a small yacht making no progress against a strong Spring ebb tide on Saturday evening, trying to enter Portsmouth Harbour. Eventually he gave up and asked a nice kind Sunseeker which was just leaving if he would take him in. SSeeker maneovered nicely in the tide, passed a line anView attachment 34810View attachment 34810View attachment 34810d towed the yacht in. Nice to watch

I have in fact done the reverse, towed a MoBo into our marina from the river when his engine concked-out

I wouldn't want to be sat on the front of a yacht under tow, with or without lifejacket. If the towrope parts (or cleat comes out of the deck) it could be quite nasty.
