Sunseeker Abandons £6M+ of boats on the Medway

What are they doing dumped here? Avoiding "The Fire" or something more sinister?

Four of their plastic things have been here for a while now....

Does seem a bit odd though. Perhaps they got lost on the way back from LIBS?

How long before they can be claimed as "abandoned"?

If they need to get rid of them I'll be happy to take one. It won't go anywhere, I'll just live in it

Some people winter their boats elswhere, so it can look a bit empty.
The Kingswear Castle has gone, I'm afraid. To the river Dart. Damn shame, used to like having that near to us. And watching them moor it - had a long chat with one of the crew about how they nake it "walk" sideways.

Shouldn't think they paid that much. I would guess about £300 a week for all of them.

We do have a very eclectic range of boats here. Best place I've moored.

A lot certainly has happend in the 5 years since i moored there.
Please dont tell me the KG five has closed in Brompton, it was bad enough for us when the Harbour Masters closed and was turned into offices :(

King George the Fifth pub in Brompton still alive and well. Pretty much unchanged although I see they have been dragged into the 21st century with their web-site http://www.kgvpub.com/

Fond memories of wobbling down the steps back to the Dockyard after a cleansing ale or five.
