Has anyone any experience of a Sunseeker Portofino 32/34 whether you have owned or skippered one. All information appreciated good or bad. I am researching an article on buying a used example.

Greg - If you want to extend the scope of your article to include the Portofino 31 - which is the same hull as the 32 but with a different stern - then I would be happy to help.

hi Greg
2 friends of myn in Malta own a Portofino 34
lovely boat one from 1990 (grey hull) and the other 1992 (turquiose green)
both of them are with 2 x 200 hp Diesel and bought used from 1st owner
speed with these engines is a max of 31 knots in our hot med waters 25 cel
had also a friend who bought brand new a 31 Portofino, not as good seaboat as the 34 but better handling characteristics
also the finishing on the 34 is on a much better level then on the 31
what I like of the 31 is it's spacious cockpit, which is bigger then the 34
check also the 34 Portofino replacement 35 San Remo for a few EUROS more which has 2 sperate cabins and is much more spacious inside then the 34 and even cockpit space is better....
as most old Sunseekers they suffer from gelcoat scraping, which would need to be repainted quite soon (usally after a 10 year period)
