The problem with taking a holiday is when you get back you just want to go away again.

So with the weekend here and the sun shining Swmbo, younger son & I are just about to head off to Temple and take the boat out for the weekend.

Then much to SWMBO's dismay I have cunningly organised to drop the boat off on Wednesday PM down at Kris Cruisers in Datchet for its 300 hour service on Thursday (when she is working, so will wave good bye to the family On Sunday evening,luckily these days I can work from the boat)

I have carefully planned the trip and recruited my good buddy and party animal friend to join me on Monday for the start of a 3 day trip down to Datchet from Temple (yes I know it can be done in a matter of hours) so in order to prolong the mini holiday we intend to stop regularly for refreshments. Really looking forward to the next five days

So help me out guys with some suggested routes, should we head upstream before heading down or just spend many hours in the Bounty before heading downstream and spending a night in Windsor before the strenuous next stage from Windsor to Datchet.

Well if you are a foodie like me, you should visit windsor farm shop! try some of there gala pie (pork pie with whole eggs) or chicken and ham pie and dont forget the chilli jam... Thats a great foodie stop off just before the raj pub past kriss and on the corner after the bridge in datchet/old windsor.
