Hi,
I wondered if I could draw on Discovery Sunline 31 owners experience.
We are absolutely loving owning ours it and have actually been out around the coast a few times now. Have even been brave enough to get as far as Brighton from Eastbourne.
By any chance does anyone recall what your WOT was, speed and what props you had on? My instructor/trainer feels that something may be up. We are getting 26 knots and max out at 3000rpm. My instructor feels that it should be at least 4000rpm. I checked on the Volvo penta website and it says 4000rpm.
We have twin S3-130 with SX drive 14.5 x 17 4 blades props
It has been antifouled and engines serviced, both engines max out at the same rpm so don't imagine anything is up.
I have tried calling a few companies to see what prop size they suggest but have had differing suggestions.
Next problem we kind of encountered is that our indicator says that our waste tank is full....now I tried doing a pump out but nothing happened... I looked for a valve or something that I should possibly be opening but could not find 1
Am I missing something or being silly? I litterally removed the screwed top marked waste put the suction pipe on and nothing happened. I could hear the suction.
